I recorded this song with Kiyoshi Takeshita, a leading Jazz pianist in the Kansai area, with whom I have been playing since I was about 20 years old.
Mr. Takeshita is truly an amazing person, and I have met many musicians in my nearly 30 years of professional life, but he is one of the most special among them.

Even with songs that he has played hundreds of times, he always brings out something fresh and new.


It's no wonder he was called a genius at such a young age. Somehow, I became friends with Kiyoshi Takeshita, and I'm happy that we've been doing sessions together for so long.


Between you and me, there are times when I want to hug Mr. Takeshita while he's playing during a live performance. LOL!


I wrote this song with the image of a ballet dancer dancing on a dimly lit stage.
I was invited to perform at a ballet event, and this song came out of my memory of the scene on stage.


I handed the score to Mr. Takeshita, and without any explanation, the two of us played the notes together, and this is the second take.


We played it three times, but the second time was the best.
Of course, we didn't make any changes afterwards.


We were both inspired by each other's sounds, and it developed as if we were being pulled by something, and that's the atmosphere we recorded.


I asked the percussionist IZPON to play the congas on top of the sound we recorded together.
